If you’re using RedDogFish, you never “change” your eSIM — you simply add or switch plans on the same digital card.
Here’s how it works:
- Install your RedDogFish eSIM once.
After purchase, scan your QR code and activate the eSIM profile on your phone.
(Do not delete it — it’s your permanent RedDogFish access key.)
Add new plans anytime.
Log in to your RedDogFish account, choose a new country or region, and buy the plan you need — 3 GB for Italy, 10 GB for the US, or 1 GB global data.
- Let your eSIM do the work.
When you arrive, your phone will automatically activate the right plan for that country.
- Manage your plans easily.
You can check your balance, expiration, or remaining data directly in your account.
If Your Plan Doesn’t Activate Automatically
When you land in your destination country, your RedDogFish plan will normally activate on its own as soon as your phone connects to a supported local network.
But if, for any reason, your plan doesn’t activate automatically, you can turn it on manually — it only takes a moment:
How to manually activate your plan:
- Open your RedDogFish account in your browser.
- Go to My Plans.
- Open the specific plan for your destination.
- Tap Activate Plan.
Your data will start working immediately once you’re connected to the local network.
Never activate your plan before you actually arrive in the destination country.
If you activate it while still at home or in transit, the plan will start counting down immediately, even if you haven’t used any data yet.
So remember:
Only activate when you’re physically in the country.
If possible, wait until your phone picks up a local signal — then check if activation happened automatically.
Use manual activation only if necessary.
This small step ensures you get every day you paid for — and nothing goes to waste.
